The Mendocino County Climate Action Advisory Committee has written a Climate Emergency Declaration for the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors, which has been adopted.  Another resolution declaring the intention of the county to "Reduce and eliminate the carbon footprint of buildings and operations of the County of Mendocino" has been adopted in the years since.
