Workforce Development
As Inflation Reduction Act funds become available in California, there is a need for a workforce that can install heat pumps, solar, wind, and EV charging stations in private and commercial settings. As many in this field retire, there is a drop in those capable of these jobs. We have been working with schools to train students to acquire adequate skills to enter the workforce. This page outlines resources and opportunities for those interested.
Increasing Energy Efficiency
There are so many ideas for making your home or business more energy efficient to both save money on increasing energy costs and also to decrease energy use.
What to do? We are at point where the ideas abound and the appliances and products are available, but there are not enough of trained workers ready to meet the demand. Many of our tradespeople are either retiring or having difficulty keeping up with demand.
