What can you do to promote Earth Day and better our mother?

Support local initiatives. 

Visit the website for your local City Council or Board of Supervisors – find out when their monthly meetings are and check their agendas for information about any item related to CLIMATE or the ENVIRONMENT that we may need you to attend and speak to support.

Write to Senator Jared Huffman, Diane Feinstein, and Kamala Harris to stop the wildlife trade, especially endangered species.

Write to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to state your concern about the new reduced rules for polluters. Alternatively go to MoveOn.org and have the letter/statement put on a national petition

• Spend 10 minutes picking-up trash anywhere,
• Plant anything* (note – use discretion certain types of vegetation are better i.e. native plants as well as those that nourish pollinators),
• Bike instead of drive,
• Help with a beach, creek, park cleanup,
• Reduce, re-use, and recycle
